As a Senior Publicist for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Mark and his team are responsible for the public relations initiatives for a family vacation business that spans three continents and includes four multi-park vacation destinations, a top rated cruise line and the most popular resort locations in North America, Europe and Asia. Approximately 100 million Guests visit Walt Disney Parks and Resorts around the world each year.

Mark has six years of communications and marketing experience with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. He first joined The Walt Disney Company in 2000 as a production and communications coordinator at Walt Disney World, and later rose to Manager of Disney Destinations Travel Industry Marketing for two years before becoming a Senior Publicist with global responsibility. Since joining the Walt Disney Company, he has had responsibility for the communications of such areas as Theme Park and Resort Operations, New Technology Communications, Travel Industry Marketing, and most recently with Worldwide Sales and Travel Operations Public Relations.

Originally from Baltic, Connecticut, Mark graduated from the University of Connecticut with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and Communication Sciences. During college Mark participated in a variety of campus activities, holding positions on the Student Union Board of Governors, the Interfraternity Council, and within his fraternity, Kappa Sigma. Mark also spent three summers with the UConn Orientation Program.

In addition to his duties at Disney, Mark has emerged an advocate for public relations in travel and tourism and is also an active member of the Public Relations Society of America, serving on the executive board of the Entertainment & Sports Council.
