As faculty, staff, and peer educators, PeerFest workshop presenters should be sensitive and aware of the perpetuation of stereotypes, erroneous assumptions, and issues of language. Presenters are requested to model behavior that will educate their audience and provide an environment that is comfortable for everyone. PeerFest attendees are all students at the University of Connecticut, but come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience levels with Peer Education. PeerFest presenters are expected to demonstrate appropriate, sensitive, and inclusive actions and use of terminology. (Adapted from the National Orientation Directors Association)

By checking the box below, I acknowledge that I have read and will comply with the Presenter Agreement provided.
